Algeria: President establishes new domestic airline

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s government decided to establish a new airline in a move to enhance connectivity within Algeria, according to AL24 News.
The president chaired a working meeting on Wednesday to assess the state of air transport in the country, focusing on Air Algérie and Tassili Airlines, which aims to improve air travel services nationwide.
Following the discussions, the government decided the new company specialising in domestic air transport, which will operate as a subsidiary of Air Algérie.
