Palestine: Thousands remain missing beneath ruins of Gaza

Gaza’s Civil Defence says around 9,500 people remain missing beneath the rubble across the Strip, with rescue teams recovering 155 bodies so far, as reported by Middle East Eye on the 11th of October.
The agency reported receiving 75 distress calls since dawn and urged the Red Cross to coordinate with Israel, citing severe shortages of equipment and personnel as a result of Israel’s genocidal siege of Gaza.
Around 300,000 displaced Palestinians have returned to Gaza City since Friday’s ceasefire, many sheltering in makeshift tents amid rubble as aid is not expected to arrive until tomorrow.
