Sudanese military aircraft crashes and kills all onboard

A Sudanese military aircraft has crashed and killed everyone onboard as it attempted to land in the East of the country on 9th December, according to Asharq Al Awsat.

Two officials said The Ilyushin Il-76 cargo plane suffered a technical failure during landing at The Osman Digna Air Base, in Port Sudan. They refused to disclose the number of casualties, AP News reported.

Influential Sudanese journalist Osman Mirghani announced the death of his military pilot nephew Omran Mirghani in relation to the incident.
