Donald Trump suggests expelling South Africa from G20
US President Donald Trump has suggested expelling South Africa from the G20 over allegations that the country is persecuting its white minority population, according to BBC News on November 6th.
At a conference on November 5th, Trump said, “South Africa shouldn’t even be in the Gs any more, because what’s happened there is bad. I’m not going to represent our country there. It shouldn’t be there.”
Trump has accused South Africa of discriminating against its white population, which South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has denied, despite figures such as Elon Musk also backing the claim that South Africa’s government is “actively promoting white genocide.”
