Morocco enters F-16 fighter jet global supply network

Morocco has joined the global production chain for the F-16 fighter jet, marking a key step in its military industrial development.
Under a $50 million US technology transfer agreement, the country will now receive components, technical data, and services related to the aircraft, as reported by the Moroccan government friendly outlet Hespress on May 4th.
The move follows Morocco’s purchase of 24 F-16 Viper jets and ongoing upgrades to its existing fleet, reinforcing its strategic defence ties with the United States.
